All entries are subject to the rules as stated on the entry site, 50books50covers.secure-platform.com.

By entering the AIGA 50 Books | 50 Covers competition, all entrants warrant that all information supplied in the online form is accurate and truthful.

Decisions of the jurors on all matters during judging, including qualifications and categories, are final. AIGA reserves the right to disqualify work that it finds to be compromised as to originality, legitimacy, or eligibility after review and final decision by the jurors.

Intellectual property remains with the creator. The entrant understands physical books become the property of AIGA and will not be returned under any circumstances. We regret that entries and additional physical copies of books cannot be returned.

By submitting work to the competition, all entrants acknowledge that AIGA reserves the right to use accepted work for reproduction in competitions-related publications; on its websites; in any editorial or exhibition of the competitions’ selections; and for educational and promotional purposes.

All entrants grant to AIGA the right to exhibit and reproduce the work as entered in this submission, in its entirety or in part, in any media now known or hereafter created, including but not limited to exhibitions, publications, the AIGA Design Archives, and on AIGA’s website and partner websites, as well as for promotion of AIGA competitions, exhibitions, programs, activities, and events, each without limitation of any kind.

All entrants warrant that they are the owner of all rights in the work and/or possesses the right to authorize the reproduction and display of the accepted works and to grant the rights identified herein.

All entrants certify that the work entered in this submission does not infringe on any copyrights or trademarks.

All entrants understand that infringement always triggers disqualification, even if it's discovered after the juror selections have been announced.

All entrants expressly agree that AIGA shall not be liable and agree to release and indemnify AIGA for any expenses related to any disputes or errors concerning artistic conception, ownership, or any other matters relating to the ownership and rights granted herein as they relate to any of the entered works.

AIGA may, at its sole discretion, may charge a service fee for use of materials, and may reproduce any and all materials in whole or in part as it deems appropriate.

Images, credits, and description of selections published by AIGA on its website, including the AIGA Design Archives, are based on information provided by those who originally submitted the work. The copy submitted may be edited for length or style. AIGA is not responsible for missing information, incorrect information, or incomplete credits or descriptions.

The entrant understands image specifications must be followed to meet web, print, and archival standards.

The entrant understands all entry fees are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

The entrant understands whether they select online or offline payment, they are committing to pay for their entries in full.

All payments must be made to AIGA in U.S. Dollars (USD).

The regular deadline is March 12, 2024. All entries completed by February 26, 2024, will be subject to a $25 USD early discount.

No entries will be accepted after April 22, 2024.

All payments must be completed and received by AIGA no later than April 22, 2024.

All offline payments must be approved before the published entry deadlines. Requests received after the published entry deadlines are subject to late fees.

All offline payments will be subject to an additional $35 USD processing fee.

All offline payments must reach AIGA within 15 days after the date on the invoice.

All checks must be in U.S. Dollars drawn on U.S. Bank.

All wire transfer transactions will be subject to an additional $35 USD processing fee.
