PROJECT DESCRIPTION
LBR&Arquitectos, founded in 1976 by L. Benjamin Romano, designs and builds architecture projects based on four defining principles: sustainability, structure, high technology and artistic integration.
In 2018, the Reforma Tower was recognized as the best skyscraper in the world with the International Highrise Award. With 57 stories and 244 meters high, it was built on the corner of Paseo de la Reforma and Río Elba, and shares its plot with a house built in 1929 that was displaced in order to make room for the tower's foundation, before being put back again in its original location. The project consists of two large, exposed-concrete walls, positioned at right angles to each other and facing Chapultepec Park.
The tower's construction system was an essential part of the project and is visible to the eye.
