Created as a promotional lookbook for Austrian concrete manufacturer Rieder Group, Canadian artist Ron Terada collaborated with designer Information Office (Derek Barnett) to create an object that extends far beyond a conventional concrete catalogue.

The systematic gridded deconstruction of letter forms on the cover are quite attractive and work well with the content of the book. When similar forms return on the interior spreads as scaled-up details, with over print, in effect re-cropping the images, it becomes quite a spectacular visual narrative. — Henk van Assen
