PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Carne Crua (meaning "raw meat") is a book of short stories by Rubem Fonseca, known by his brutal, rough writing. The photograph illustrates the piece that lends its title to the book, while the type, hard-edged like the text itself, emulates thermal printing, usual in ground beef packaging labels. To enhance the tactile experience, high gloss varnish was applied on the entire front cover, leaving out the white area containing the copy, the publisher's logo and the barcode.
