PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The exhibition design for Passionate seeks spatial developments for curatorial concept, which explores the theme of love and passion through the attraction and approximations between the works. Based on the narrative of the exhibition and developed together with the curator, it is premised on a fluid space, outlined based on how this attraction – in the relationship between curves and bodies here – delineates the space.

Curved walls of concrete blocks configure the exhibition layout. This way, the gradient of negative space between the blocks and the texture of lines created by the troughs add a tactile dimension to the setting, providing rhythm, movement and depth to the exhibition space. The graphic design follows this idea, playing with the cuts on the dust jacket, much like the concrete blocks, sometimes concealing, sometimes revealing.
