PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The design for ‘A Reaction to Someone Coming In’ was based on a book series from the 1970s that the author admired. The covers of this series were comprised only of simple typography on colored backgrounds. In essence, the brief was to create a non-cover. Our solution was to follow these strict aesthetic requirements but also articulate the meaning of the title by having the words literally come into the book via the flap.
