PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Entelechy was the primary concept for this book I designed for the Allora & Calzadilla exhibition at Museu de Serralves. The cover was printed in photosensitive ink, revealing its potential under
the sunlight or under UV light, its soul, as “Graft”, one of the works presented at the exhibition. This idea of potential was spread to the book’s first chapter, with images and photographs and brief descriptions of the works by the artists. The images were printed in 15% black on a semi-gloss coated paper as an aura or memories.
Next is a selection of Research Material reunited by the artists, printed in silver, with archival images and others by the artists and texts. Lastly, the texts, typesetted in Romek by designers foundry, with contributions by Philippe, Irene V. Small, Emanuele Coccia Inês Grosso and André e. Teodósio.
