PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This publication is a comprehensive exhibition catalogue for the Josh Kline’s mid-career retrospective at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. The artist’s work deals with climate change, automation, disease, and politics. The book’s design is deceptively simple: a tightly-cropped political work on the jacket gives way to an incendiary cover underneath, with subtle debossing, followed by cinematic typesetting throughout. The design was made in close collaboration with Josh over several months on Zoom.
