PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The book Abdias Nascimento: a panamefrican artist, brings together the largest set of works by the artist ever published. The core is printed on two types of paper, an uncoated one for the texts, and a coated, thicker one, which is used in the portfolio of paintings and in the opening section, which features posters produced by the artist.

The text pages have a red frame that takes the color to the book's cut and highlights the different sections of the catalog, in addition to the serif font of the texts, credits, and subtitles. The project uses the geometric sans-serif open-source font Lineal for the titles, which make reference to symbols of religions of African origin that are recurrent in the artist's work.

The book is bilingual and has two cover options. Regarding the reference to the two flags, the Brazilian and the American, he emphasizes the approach of the catalog and the artist's performance in these two countries.
