These brief compendiums cover wide ground in thoughtful, witty, and endlessly fascinating entries on the science, natural history, and culture of their subjects. Each book features approximately 50 bespoke black-and-white illustrations, one-color printed endpapers, colored endbands, and genuine cotton cloth covers with two-color gloss pigment foil stamping.
