PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Catalogue of the international photography exhibition which focuses on the global ecological crisis. Catalogue serves as the book edition of the To See Our Common/Place digital exhibition. The exhibition features works by five young photographers from Europe, USA and Brazil and focuses on the global ecological crisis, which increasingly calls into question the existence of life on Earth. It attempts to reclaim an awareness of our own political situatedness and personal agency in the shaping of our societies and the environment. The typography in the catalogue is set to appear straight-forward on the first glance, but reveals irregularities and unexpected moments on closer look. The design also responds to each artist to best fit the concept of their works. The recycled paper and cardboard cover are used to acquaint the reader with the topic. The introduction by the curator also works as a table of content as it features small samples of artist's works with page numbers.

Juror Comments
“The typographic approach in this book is excellent. By both utilizing and breaking the underlying grid structure throughout the book, there is a level of unpredictability that is refreshing to experience upon each flip of a page.” —Kelly Walters
